Winter Peony is full blooming

正月ぼたん.jpgPeony is the symbol of fertility and nobility. Here, you can enjoy the winter peony in the shrine garden beside the Genji pond. It is very Japanese view that hundreds of peonies are blooming under the rice-straw shelter to protect from cold weather and frost.

if you visit after snow, you can enjoy the snow-crowned flowers!

Opening hours 9am – 4.30pm (last admission is 4 pm)

Admission Fee Adult ¥500 Student (age 13-18) ¥200 Child Free

*Children under age 12 should be guided by more than one adult

*Group Discount ¥400 per one is available for Group of 25+ adults
