Japanese Horseback Archery YABUSAME was held in Finland


A Japan-Finland cooperative event called “Spirits of Samurai 2014” was operated and delegation of priests and shrine maidens of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu and Ogasawara School held the ritual of horseback archery “Yabusame” at Helsinki on 1st June 2014.

The chief priest of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu had a lecture on Shinto (the way of kami) and Bushido (the way of samurai) at Finnish National Museum on 30th May.
