Students of Peking University Visited Tsurugaoka Hachimangu

009.JPGOn 24th and 25th July, groups of the students from Peking University visited Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. They, 90 students in total, were having a 2-week study trip around Japan, and Kamakura was one of their destinations.

The students attended a ritual at the Main Shrine and experienced a formal way of visiting a shrine. After that, senior priests introduced Shinto and the history of the shrine to them. The questions posed from them showed their strong interest in Japanese culture.
