Sukeisha-taisai (Worshippers’ Association “Enju no Kai”) and Yabusame were held on 4th October.

This year, we invited Mr. Virtamo, the Ambassador of Finland, to play the role of “marshal” of the horseback archery.

As a part of intercultural activities of Enju no Kai, about 50 foreign diplomats and 80 oversea students were also invited to Yabusame.

This year, children of American diplomat and oversea student from China participated as assistants in the horseback archery with Japanese children. They enjoyed this historical event and deepened their understanding of Japanese culture and tradition.
