Azaleas were presented to North East Japan

tsutsuji.JPGAbout 1600 azalea trees were transplanted from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu to 8 places in 5 cities in Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures where Tsurugaoka Hachimangu has supported to recover from the damage of the Great East Japan Earthquake since 2010.

The flowers, which were originally planted in Dankazura, the main approach between the 2nd Torii and the 3rd Torii of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, are to be planted to newly constructed high street of the town, schools, and playgrounds.
