The Dedication of Bugaku ~Japanese Ancient Court Dance and Music~

Dancers performing Goshoraku-no-ha Bugaku (Japanese Ancient Court Dance and Music) was dedicated on 5th May by Tokyo-Gakuso. It is composed of top performers such as court musicians and chosen gagaku-musicians. They performed a wonderful stage at the Lower Worship Hall.
The musicians in colorful traditional costume played the instruments such as Japanese free reed instrument called sho and Japanese double reed flute called hichiriki. The dancers, also in gorgeous costume, dedicated ancient court dances elegantly.
Visitors enjoyed traditional music and dance continued over 1000 years.
