Yakuyoke-dai-kito (Apotropaic Ritual to Expel Evil Spirits) was held

daikitou2017.JPGYakuyoke-dai-kito (Apotropaic Ritual to Expel Evil Spirits) was held on the Lower Worship Hall for 3 days, from 27th to 29th January.

Shinto Priests were offering of Shinto liturgy to get rid of misfortune and pray for good fortune.

Japanese tradition says that flame has special energy to remove evil. After the ritual, attendees put ofuda in the flame. All of their misfortune was purified with this sacred flame.
