Cherry trees along Dankazura pathway are now full blooming.

dankazura kansei.JPG Dankazura, the main approach to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, was originally constructed in 1182 to pray for a safe delivery for Masako, the wife of Minamoto no Yoritomo.

On both sides of Dankazura pathway, nearly two hundreds of cherry trees are planted, and they are now in full bloom.
We hope you will enjoy this lovely view of the Japanese spring.
