Sagicho-Shinji (New Year's Bonfire) was held

On 15th January, Sagicho-Shinji (New Year’s Bonfire) was held. In Japan, the decorations are put at the entrance of house for welcoming New Year’s kami. Sagicho-Shinji is setting fire to the decorations and seeing off New Year’s kami with its flame after the period of New Year’s celebration.

Although this ritual started from 7 a.m., many people participated and wished for health and happiness.
